EverCD+ is a Unicode based multi-purpose software dedicated to the the cataloging of CDs, DVDs, audio CDs, any hard disk folder or any other accessible media using powerful management tools to search and access files from within the catalog.
It can read audio album information from FreeDb,retrive audio CD-TEXT,ISRC and catalog Nbr directly from disk, create thumbnail and save EXIF information for image file, keep tag data for audio files in MP3, WMA and OGG formats, retrieve full file structure and comments for compressed archives, extract internal description for most popular documents in doc, html, pdf, rtf, exe formats and so on.
All the catalogued disks are stored in a multi-level category hierarchy. The number of sub-categories is virtually limitless. You can browse the catalog in a friendly explorer-like viewer, find the whereabouts of a specific item you know you have without needing to insert the discs frequently. Thus you save time and extend your computer hardware life.
The program also includes an embedded media player with several enhanced features such as shuffle, repeat a track, repeat all, and a 10-band graphic equalizer.
EverCD 3.2.10 was released by Taroleaf Software on Tuesday 27 April 2004. Its known requirements are : 32M memory, Internet explorer 5.5 and above.
EverCD will run on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
